Welcome to the official website of Moss Racing, featuring driver Ken Mostowich and the Moss Racing team. This is an informational site designed to provide all of the latest updates on Moss Racing, including scheduled races and our racing history, as well as information about our vehicles and team members.
Meet the Moss Racing Driver
The driver for Moss Racing is Ken Mostowich, a native of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Ken originally got his start back in 1985 when he got into bracket racing with a close friend, Herald Braun. He started with a ’68 Chevrolet Nova (12 sec car) and then graduated to a ’68 Chevrolet Camaro (10 sec car). It was about 6 years until Ken purchased his first NHRA competitive car, a Chevrolet Monza.
Ken well remembers his starting years; his first rig was a Chevrolet Cargo Van pulling a homemade open deck trailer. One tradition that’s been there from the beginning and is well known around the pit area is “Saturday Steak Night”, where anyone is welcome to bring their steak over to be grilled by Moss himself.
Pit Crew Chief
Charlie Marsh is the Crew Chief for Moss Racing and has been with Ken for around 12 years now. As Ken himself often says, he just couldn’t do this without his Crew Chief. Charlie takes care of all the maintenance and transportation of the cars and is a key figure in strategizing the race schedule and even the runs themselves. Also a Calgary native, Charlie is involved with the local bracket racing scene when he has down time.
